Walt Mayo
Practicing since 2001, Walt Mayo tried yoga as a last resort when back pain interfered with his ability to surf and work. Amazed at the results, Walt became a "true believer" and has never looked back. His vinyasa classes are challenging, building a strong, grounded relationship with the Earth and the Breath. With emphasis on powerful poses that encourage being fully engaged both physically and mentally, his sequences include transitions between poses which are as integral to the practice as the asanas themselves.
Walt has a Facebook account dedicated only to yoga, with posts regarding his favorite yoga books, music, playlists, videos, etc. He also includes yoga products of interest he's seen on the web, as well as some tips and reviews - mats being of particular interest.
